Hi, I’m Nita!
At Seawise Studio, my approach is warm, practical, and strengths-based. I help clients better understand how their mind works, build tools that fit their real life, and take meaningful steps toward learning, clarity, and emotional steadiness.
Whether you are a student, young adult, or parent seeking guidance, my hope is that you leave feeling more grounded, more capable, and more connected to your own light.
I created Seawise Studio to offer thoughtful, practical support for students, young adults, and families navigating learning, stress, focus, and life transitions.
My work is rooted in the belief that people do better when they feel understood, supported, and equipped with tools that actually fit their lives.
My training includes an Ed.S. in School Psychology and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Chapman University, an M.A. in Teaching English & Special Education from the University of Southern California, and a B.A. in Theatre with an Educational Studies minor from Chapman University.
I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (#67090) and hold California Teaching Credentials in Special Education, and Secondary English. Additionally, I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#21544) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
I have presented at state and national School Psychology and School Counseling conferences on topics including strengths-based assessment, ADHD assessment, as well as school climate and safety. My writing has also been published multiple times in the Communiqué, the periodical published by the National Association of School Psychologists.
Who I Support
I work with learners ages 5 through 25 and their families who may be navigating academic stress, learning differences, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, burnout, school transitions, or uncertainty about next steps.
Support may be a good fit if you or your child needs help understanding learning needs, building practical systems, preparing for school meetings, strengthening focus and follow-through, or reconnecting with a sense of clarity and confidence.
